Autumn Community Detox
Ten days of traditional Ayurvedic cleansing, done at home and guided together — at whatever depth your life can hold this season.
Autumn is vata season — dry, mobile, changeable. It is also the season the body most readily lets go of what it has been carrying since summer. Ayurveda has always used these turning points, and a cleanse at the turn of a season does more than the same effort would in the middle of one.
This is a traditional community cleanse. You do it at home, in your own kitchen, in your own life — but not alone. We meet every day, and I am with you the whole way through.
Detoxification of this nature is like hitting a reset button on your habits. It's about connecting more deeply to your innate ability to heal, renew, and replenish.
A note on this year's dates. This cleanse falls later in the autumn than my usual timing, and there is a reason for it. I am going to India to study, and I will be studying Panchakarma and cleansing in particular. I will be coming home with a great deal to bring back — new tools, and the teaching behind them — and it will deepen both this community cleanse and the Panchakarma work at the retreat center. I think this will be the best cleanse yet.

Ten days, guided daily
You choose the depth
Not everyone should cleanse the same way, and a cleanse you can actually complete is worth more than an ambitious one you abandon on day three. You decide the intensity — and I'll help you choose honestly, based on your constitution and what your life looks like in November.
Daily gatherings on Zoom
We meet each day to talk through how it's going — what's shifting, what's difficult, what to adjust, and how to prepare for the next day. This is the part people say makes the difference. Cleansing alone is hard; cleansing in company is something else entirely. Every session is recorded, so a missed day is not a missed cleanse.

Please send me your questions. If you aren't sure this cleanse is right for you, I'd be happy to help you decide.
Is this the right season for you?
A cleanse asks something of the body, and it is not right for everyone at every moment. Cleansing is generally not advised during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and it should be approached carefully if you are managing a health condition, taking medication, recovering from illness, or if a different approach is right for you right now.
If you are unsure, ask me before you register. That conversation is free, and I would far rather point you toward the right thing for your vitality and health.
This cleanse is a traditional Ayurvedic practice offered for general wellbeing and education. It is not a medical treatment, and it is not a substitute for diagnosis or care from your physician. Please speak with your doctor before beginning any cleanse, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a health condition, or taking medication.
If you want to go deeper
To be clear: this ten-day detox is not Panchakarma. It is a guided community cleanse you do at home, in your own kitchen, alongside a group. Panchakarma is a different thing altogether — Ayurveda's most thorough cleanse, done residentially here in Boulder, one-to-one with me every day.
If you feel ready to go deeper, Panchakarma at the retreat center is a wonderful next step. Some people cleanse with the community for a few seasons and then come for it. Some arrive the other way around. If you aren't sure which is yours, tell me where you are and I'll tell you honestly which one fits — and when.
What Panchakarma includes
- A two-hour consultation before you arrive
- Daily Ayurvedic body therapies
- Meals prepared for your constitution
- Meditation, yoga and gentle movement
- Private lodging at the Juniper House
- One-to-one with me every day
- A follow-up consultation after you go home
